"Extremely unprofessional and the worst state farm agency I have had the displeasure of working with. I just moved cross country, state farm has been my insurance for the last 4 years, and my old agent was fantastic. Upon arriving in NJ I contacted the local agent to get my insurance switched over to NJ. The individual handling my NJ policy gave me misinformation saying I need to visit 2 different MVC locations for my license and vehicle separately (not true, Eatontown handled both). He then attempted to rush me to get everything switched over to put me on a new policy weeks before my current one expired. And finally when I stated I had to wait on a bank statement because the MVC rejected my proof of residence, the agent upsold me on getting a renters policy, claiming that's all that is needed for proof of residency. Yet at the DMV they informed me nothing from my insurance (auto or renters) could be used as proof of residence. Upon contacting this agency to speak with a different agent, the initial one I spoke with called me back and continued to lie claiming "it must of just been the clerk you spoke to because I do this all the time and the renters policy is always accepted". When I responded by pointing out it wasn't on the list of documents that prove residence, he began interrupting and over speaking me, to continue pushing he sell. I will never work with state farm in NJ again after this experience. Someone that claims 13tears experience as an agent gives me incorrect information twice in order to upsell me on an unnecessary policy is fraudulently"

"I have had State Farm Insurance since I graduated college in 1965. That’s a long time and the reason why is the company has ALWAYS been there when I needed them. Must be something in their corporate environment. I have only had three different agents in all that time, only switching between offices when I moved. I am currently with Mansa Nicome in Neptune City, NJ and they are continuing my excellent State Farm experience. I had a personal articles claim just last week and it settled and I was reimbursed within 24 hours. Even thought the employees are working from home they managed their outstanding service.
